Buccaneers HC Bruce Arians decided on futures of Antonio Brown, Mike Edwards?

Earlier this week, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians suggested he could cut star wide receiver Antonio Brown and/or safety Mike Edwards, both of whom are completing the final days of their three-game suspensions for purposely misrepresenting their COVID-19 vaccination statuses by using fake vaccination cards.

It seems Arians has made his decisions ahead of Sunday's prime-time game against the New Orleans Saints.

"It’s just a matter of making a statement, and whether I do it before this game or after, we’ll wait and see," Arians explained about their statuses, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. "But I don’t want anything distracting from this game."

As Florio added, Brown shared a video on his Instagram story of him at the Buccaneers' facility on Friday afternoon. It's unknown exactly when it was taken, but he and Edwards can work out at the facility through their bans that end Monday.

Brown has been sidelined since he initially went down with an ankle injury on Oct. 14. He recorded 29 catches for 418 receiving yards and four touchdowns across five games this season when healthy and available. The 33-year-old has, in the past, enjoyed a great working relationship with Tom Brady, and logic suggests the seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback would want the seven-time Pro Bowl target in the lineup at least for the postseason tournament next month.

All may, however, have to wait until Monday to officially learn of Arians' intentions.
