Disney is giving us glimpses of The Book of Boba Fett via short TV spot trailers ahead of the Star Wars series' Dec. 27 premiere on Disney Plus. Monday's one, titled Message, suggests the show will reveal how the bounty hunter survived his fall into the sarlacc's maw in Return of the Jedi.

"I am Boba Fett. Left for dead on the sands of Tatooine," he says.

This line is uttered over a shot of Boba immersed in bacta, Star Wars' miracle curative substance, hinting that the series will include flashbacks to his recovery from the sarlacc.

Sunday's spot, Reign, hinted at some of the action sequences we'll see in the show.

Fett was reintroduced to the live-action Star Wars universe in the first episode of The Mandalorian's second season last year, looking to get his signature armor back from Mando. The season finale's post-credits scene showed his violent takeover of Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine, in the first step toward ruling over the slain Hutt's criminal empire.
