Kenzo debuted its new TALI bag collection during the Fall/Winter 2019 show. The collection was inspired by a spiritual world and the same traversed to the runway. Various models were launched in a virtual constellation via a mobile app created specifically for the occasion.“With its new line of TALI bags – a name derived from ‘talisman’ – Kenzo reconnects with a spiritual world, honoring intuition. Presented during the Fall/Winter 2019 show in Paris last January, the collection features clean design and elegant craftsmanship, with sophisticated leathers and bright, vibrant colors. The bags stand out with their eye motif on the clasp, a universal symbol of good fortune and protection and a favorite symbol of Kenzo co-creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon,” the LVMH website says.According to the website, “for the formal launch of the much anticipated TALI, Kenzo has pre-conceived a digital stage to enable an interactive discovery of the collection. The one-of-its-kind app was created with popular astrologist Susan Miller and artist Filip Custic.”Miller defines the different properties of each TALI model. Their qualities showcased in a surrealist universe designed by Custic.
