NOMOS Glashutte has announced new Orion, Tangente, Tetra, and Ludwig duo watches that are reliable, elegant and importantly do not have a sub-seconds dial.The Tangente, Orion, Ludwig, Tetra existing watch lineups from NOMOS Glashutte have been periodically refreshed since their debut over a quarter a century ago. The company which is based in Glashutte, Saxony, recently announced new watches in these lineups and according to a press release they “embody the Bauhaus movement”. Conceived to fit delicate wrists, the watches in the lineup each have a diameter of approximately 33 millimeters. Each of the watches importantly have only two hands, carry the name of “duo” and come with a fine Glashutte caliber.The hand wound watches include the Tangente 33 duo which has hour and minutes hands in gold and a galvanized white silver dial. Onboard the watch is the Alpha.2 which is a NOMOS caliber that is built in house and it comes with a power reserve of up 43 hours. As for the Orion 33 duo it too has hour and minute hands in gold, which is also used on the stamped indexes. Water resistant and with a 3 atm rating the watch is ideal for daily use and is splash proof. It has onboard the hand wound Alpha.2 in-house built NOMOS caliber that offers a power reserve of up to 43 hours.The Ludwig 33 duo comes with a round case and has a 3 atm water resistant rating which allows it to withstand splashes with ease. It comes with an Alpha.2 NOMOS caliber which is used on the other watches.
