Estimate: 12,000 £ - 15,000 £ (15,791 USD – 19,739 USD)—Lot 0425: “An oval diamond and enamel Kundan-Meena ring.” The rub over set oval facetted and foil backed diamond measuring approximately 16 x 13mm within a bezel of dark blue enamel decoration, the closed back lavishly enamelled with white, red, blue and green foliate and symmetrical designs, the shoulders decorated with green and red enamelled flowers, to a plain shank, unhallmarked yellow metal tested using X ray fluorescence spectroscopy as an alloy of 98% pure gold, 0.8% copper and 1.2% silver, size J-L. Estimate: 5,000 £ - 7,000 £ (6,580 USD – 9,212 USD)— Lot 0457: “A French Art Deco diamond and platinum bar brooch.” The central cushion shaped rub over set old cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.20ct within an open rectangular pave set rose cut diamond surround, the principal bars on each side pave set with graduating old cut diamonds, with a shorter line of pave set rose cut diamonds above and below, the pin with sliding safety catch in addition to an attached safety chain, French dog's head mark for platinum and maker's lozenge on the brooch and French eagle's head mark for 18ct white gold on the pin; overall length 9cm and width 1.1cm, total estimated weight of diamonds approximately 7.50ct, presented in the original fitted case.
