Petersen Automotive Museum is celebrating its 25th anniversary along with its strong connection to Hollywood. In this regard, the museum has collaborated with the Comic-Con Museum to create their newest exhibition, “Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy!” On May 4, people are invited to join the exhibition’s preview night, where they’ll experience the hundreds of stories and artifacts prior to the public opening. The night will be elevated by live entertainment, an immersive augmented reality experience, gourmet appetizers, and cocktails, as per the Petersen Automotive Museum website.The exhibition intends to explore cult classic films and stories that have envisioned fantastic futuristic worlds, technologies, characters, and cars. Through props, design drawings, and physical vehicle models, this exhibit brings pop culture’s visions of dystopian, utopian, and science fiction worlds to life, as per the website.As per the information shared by the website, the added perk for the VIP guests include the enjoyment of a hard-hat tour on May 1 at 6:30 with a dinner to follow. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with ComiCon Museum and held in the Mullin family grand salon.
