Gilt and silvered brass, silver, signed “Johann Martin In Augspurg 48.”, octagonal base with compass, engraved zodiac signs and month and hour scales, latitude arc from 20-90 degree, hour-scale from 3-12-9, plummet holder with plummet, gnomon; later embossed leather case.
