The important grip of the lid, in the shape of an all-round putto, is also in bronze and hides a secret compartment. The porcelain box is delimited, both above and below, by various orders of frames and, both the walls and the cover, are in relief with bas-relief scenes of mythology. At the four corners a cartouche frames a female head. The very elaborate porcelain lid also presents a frame with a crown of leaves and fruits and at the corners four friezes with vegetal elements.
