Glashutte Original recently announced the new Sixties and Sixties Panorama Date timepieces as part of its annual edition, and they come in 1960s retro-chic design.The style from the 1960s reflected how the world at the time was changing at a fast pace as it was inspired by bold visionaries. The unprecedented freedom of the age, along with bold ideas in art, culture, politics, and society, left an indelible mark on the decade. The dynamic decade and the extensive impression that it left continues to be felt at Glashutte Original, where it has inspired two new timepieces which come with degrade dials.Created with multi-faceted orange, the radiant Sixties and Sixties Panorama Date watches bring a slice of the decade and carry on the tradition of Glashutte Original’s annual editions. Replete with a retro-chic look, the faces of the watches come with a curvature that is a signature element of the company.  The signature elements are also seen in the dial, the hands, and the sapphire crystal used, which is anti-reflective on both sides.The dials of the two timepieces feature golden yellow at the centre, and the color changes to fiery orange and red before reaching the black perimeter, showcasing the degrade effect used in their creation. Onboard, the Sixties timepiece is a Calibre 39-52 automatic movement, while the Calibre 39-47 is present in the Sixties Panorama Date.  Each of the timepieces has a power reserve of 40 hours while the cases are created from stainless steel and measure 39 mm in the Sixties model, and 42 mm in the Panorama Date model.
