The white jade carving depicts a bottle vase situated next to a larger lidless vase carved similar to flowers, vines, and tree trunk, with the russet cleverly carved as flowers, additional small container in the front, the opening carved with additional bats. The stone is beautiful and smooth white with cloudy texture and good translucency. Height: 2 3/4 in (7.0 cm) Length: 5 in (12.7 cm). Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000.— Agarwood Carved Side Table. The agarwood table has rectangular surface, the side skirts carved with auspicious patterns including taotie masks, ruyi clouds, lingzhi fungus, flying bats, and stylized dragons, extends to thick panel legs, retains natural agarwood aroma, grain, color, and patina. Height: 35 5/8 in (90.5 cm) Length: 65 3/8 in (166.1 cm). Estimate: $35,000 - $45,000.— Gilt Bronze Cast Shakyamuni Buddha Seated Figure. The gilt bronze cast figure depicts Shakyamuni Buddha seated on wooden double lotus throne pad in dhyanasana and hands in dhyana mudra, wearing long robe incised on the edges with complex patterns, eyes closed in serene expression. Height: 16 in (40.6 cm) Length: 12 in (30.5 cm) Width: 9 in (22.9 cm). Estimate: $35,000 - $45,000.— Gilt Bronze Figure of Shakyamuni Buddha. Seated on double lotus throne pad in dhyanasana, the hands in Dharmachakra mudra, dressed in elaborate and detailed drape robe slightly exposing chest and right arm, eyes slightly open. Qing Dynasty period. Height: 11 3/8 in (28.9 cm) Width: 8 3/4 in (22.2 cm) Estimate: $25,000 - $30,000.— Huanghuali Wood Cabinet. The huanghuali wood cabinet is of rectangular form, stands on four cylindrical legs, the two cabinet doors separated by a long hinge, opens to three shelf spaces and two drawers, with bronze locks on the door, the furniture retains natural Huanghuali wood color, grains, and patina. Height: 47 1/2 in (120.7 cm) Length: 30 in (76.2 cm) Width: 16 1/2 in (41.9 cm) Length: 30 in (76.2 cm). Estimate: $20,000 - $30,000.— Nephrite Jade Carved Brush Pot with Stand. The brush pot relief carved with two elders conversing near a mounting ridge above ocean waves, an attendant walking towards them below flying bats, the reverse depicts mountain top, trees, and pavilion, all below cloud band at rim, the nephrite jade is of dark green color with translucency; Includes Christie's Auction New York invoice, March 18th, 1997, Asian and European Decorative Arts, lot 55. Qing Dynasty period. Height: 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm) Diameter: 5 3/4 in (14.6 cm). Estimate: $15,000 - $25,000.— Large Framed Mandala Thangka. The large Mandala Thangka depicts Shakyamuni seated in dhyanasana, hands in bhumisparsha mudra, in the center of a square with four gates and circle, surrounded by four additional Bodhisattva, with clouds, mountains, and river setting. 19th century.
