Suite 3A, Fairfield, NJ 07004, United StatesWhen: Mar 8, 03.30 PM GMTPublic Viewing: 1 March - 7 March; 11am - 5pm ESTTop lots of the sale:- Kangxi Period circa 1710 A very large and finely painted Chinese porcelain charger with a central scene of ladies on horseback overseen by a lady with a border of flowers including lotus and peony ,painted in the verte imari palette The scene appears to show Mu Guiying and seven others of the Yang widows preparing for battle, overseen by family matriarch She Taijun; The story comes from tales of the Yang dan in the early Northern Song Dynasty , general Yang Ye was a great warrior who defended the Middle Kingdom against attack from the Khitan forces of the Liao Dynasty. Diameter: 21 1/4 in. (54 cm). Estimate: $15,000 - $25,000- Kangxi period(1661-1722) An extremely rare, large size «kangxi langyao» bowl, deep rounded side rising to a gently flaring rim, the interior and exterior covered evenly in a thick rich red glaze with fine dark specks and fine crackle around base ,interior of the base is in creamy white glaze, rim bound in copper .comes with a beautiful rosewood stand . Of globular form, the rounded sides rising from a recessed base to a short straight neck, brightly painted around the body in inky cobalt tones with a pair of soaring phoenix, their elaborate tails fanning across the cloud-filled sky, between a row of upright lappets skirting the foot and pendent ruyi collaring the shoulder, a keyfret band encircling the neck, the base with a six-character mark within double circles in underglaze blue. Height 4 3/4 in., 12.1 cm. Estimate: $ 8,000 - $ 10,000- Chinese Wucai Dragon&Phoenix Bowl,Qianlong Period. The deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a gently flaring rim,painted to the exterior with two dragons striding in pursuit of the «flaming pearl» divided by phoenix in flight reserved on a leafy floral ground,all below a band of auspicious emblem and ruyi at the rim,the interior with a medallion enclosing five bats,the base with a six character mark in underglaz blue D.6 1/8in.(15.6cm), H.2 7/8in.(7.3cm). Estimate: $8,000 - $10,000- Chinese Huanghuali Hardwood Table, 20th C. the single panel top set within a frame and joined to scrolling everted flanges at either end, over a wide apron elaborately carved with a scrolling meander of leafing peony blooms, extending to shaped spandrels flanking rectangular section legs similarly decorated, the legs joined at the short ends by stretchers enclosing archaistic openwork brackets, and supported on shaped and further foliate-carved slab feet. This magnificent Guangxu fish jardiniere with a flattened rim, the exterior with floral and geometric bands over a two five claw dragon floral scroll on a turquoise ground with a lower lappet band. The interior decorated with exotic mandarin duck floating on water full of colorful lotus flower and water lily, two pair of white colored crane standing on both side looking at each other, the center decorated with a embossed brown five claw dragon flying among three color auspicious cloud against green ground to the bottom.
