Hublot has brought the intensely colored Paraiba Tourmaline to its latest watches and released four Big Bang models with the precious gemstone.Currently billed as the most precious and rare gemstones, Paraiba Tourmalines blaze with vibrant and intense colors. The gemstone that originates from the Rio Grande region of Brazil forms part of the cuprian tourmaline family and come certified by the leading gemological laboratories. Hublot has entered into a long-term agreement with Pierre Salanitro to source the gemstones. The Paraiba Tourmalines used in the Big Bang models are mined in environmentally sustainable ways while complying fully with local and international governing laws.Baguette-cut Paraiba Tourmalines were used in the creation of the four new Big Bang Models. The tourmalines have a blue hue and they radiate green when exposed to sunlight to which they are extremely sensitive. The Big Bang Unico Paraiba is offered as a white gold or King Gold model, and it features 48 baguette-cut and 388 brilliant-cut stones. The 45mm diameter case comes with a UNICO HUB1242 manufacture self-winding Flyback Chronograph movement, with a 72-hour power reserve.The Big Bang One Click Paraiba has a smaller 39 mm diameter, and it is available in white gold or King Gold. The bezel of the watch features 48 baguette-cut Paraiba Tourmalines, while the case is set with 129 brilliant-cut stones. Onboard the Big Bang One Click Paraiba is a HUB1710 self-winding movement with a power reserve of 50 Hours. A sunray dial present in the models comes with 11 brilliant-cut Paraiba Tourmalines. Each of the four models is water resistant up to a depth of 100m.
