Swedish sports fashion brand Bjorn Borg recently launched their exclusive capsule collection RBN in collaboration with the popular international pop star as well as fashion icon Robyn. The modern collection is unisex, and is an assortment of edgy sportswear and street fashion, as per an official release.Bjorn Borg and Robyn put in a lot of effort and creativity to come up with RBN. The capsule collection is personally designed and developed by Robyn along with famous stylist Naomi Itkes and, of course, Bjorn Borg’s design team. The limited-edition collection comprises 23 pieces of clothing in different colors and shades.“It is modern and non-gender specific; a mix of sportswear, streetwear, and fashionable workwear. Inspired by some of Robyn’s favorite garments and some of the pieces in Bjorn Borg’s archive dating back to the 1980’s, the collection offers full looks with fleece hoodies, tracksuits, polo shirts, underwear, and socks,” says the release.“RBN reflects my love for street style and how its signaled in youth culture; it is inspired by my favorite garments throughout the years. I thought it would be cool to make gear that I can wear both to go out running and clubbing in,” says Robyn, according to the release.As per the release, Mija Nideborn, Design Director at Bjorn Borg, added, about the collection, “The RBN collection really captures what Bjorn Borg is all about — a contemporary fusion of sportswear and fashion. It is Robyn’s creative vision mixed with our brand DNA, a flirt with the street fashion of today.”During the RBN launch, Robyn unveiled her new music video, featuring her song “Send to Robin Immediately.” The global launch happened at Browns East in London recently and was followed by an after party where Robyn and special guests were treated to good DJ music.“The Group owns the Bjorn Borg trademark, and its core business is underwear and sportswear.
