Harry Winston with its latest Avenue Classic Sweet Valentine Timepiece for Valentine’s Day has delivered a bold message of love with the aid of mother-of-pearl.The jeweler, which has several timepieces in its Avenue Classic Collection, describes the new Avenue Classic Sweet Valentine Timepiece as “a bold and unequivocal message of love.”Mother-of-pearl is an important element in the timepiece and it is used to create the red three-dimensional hearts, which are positioned on the white dial created from the same material. The case is created from white gold and a heart-shaped ruby is present in the top arch, which is modeled after the famous arched doorway that leads to Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Salon.Additionally, 48 brilliant-cut diamonds are positioned on the bezel, lugs, and along the sides of the case, and showcase the house’s expertise in diamonds. A truncated ruby replaces the traditional diamond and is present in the crown. The Harry Winston logo, which is positioned at 12 o’clock on the watch, features a bright red lacquered finish, which also plays into the overall romantic vibe of the timepiece.Onboard the watch is a HW1044 caliber Swiss quartz movement, while white gold is used to create the case back. With three-bar water resistance rating, the watch is designed to withstand the stress of everyday use and can effortlessly survive splashes.
