Rhode Island School of Design Museum is currently hosting an exhibition of works titled “A Changing Reflection Silver, Metalwork, and Jewelry in the 19th–21st Centuries.”The show features a variety of objects starting from silverware to edgy futuristic jewelry designs. The exhibition looks at the works created by designers and how they reflect the innovation, technology, and style of that period. Metal be it silver or aluminum metal is often the choice of medium for crafting and designing objects such related to tableware, decorative arts, and jewelry. “A Changing Reflection Silver, Metalwork, and Jewelry in the 19th–21st Centuries” explores how metal is used in the modern sense of the term. How it is designed, formed, and decorated reflecting the distinct style of the artist.RISD Museum is southeastern New England’s only comprehensive art museum. It was established in Providence in the year 1877 along with the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). The museum houses a collection of about 100,000 objects ranging from paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, to costume, furniture, and other works of art and design from around the world.
