Good news for the aesthetes! Galerie Dumonteil (Shanghai) will present an outstanding show, featuring some beautiful artworks made of porcelain. Titled “Magnificence Of Art Deco (I) Manufacture de Sèvres: Revival of the Creativity,” the show will feature some beautiful decorative artworks created by a group of renowned artists.The show will display many objects that are sample works from the collection of Manufacture National de Sèvres. A few of them date back to the 18th century. A compilation of Modern as well as Old Style of work will be available for a visual treat. The great figures of Art Deco Movement invited to create for Sèvres are designer Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, De Nerville; painter Albert Martine, Pierre Jacquot, Maurice Bisson; renowned animal sculptor Marcel Derny, and others.Sèvres revived a series of drawings from National Collection of Musée Nationale de Sèvres and created the vases from the 1930s, which were never been realized at that time.
