The exhibition titled “Constance Guisset Design, Actio !” featuring the works of designer and scenographer Constance Guisset will soon be on view at Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.The show is a retrospective of Guisset’s work for the past ten years. The exhibition invites the viewers into the designer’s world where her wide-ranging fields are showcased through the creations on display. Guisset has a broad spectrum of fields that she works in such as design, scenographies for exhibitions and the performing arts, and also architecture, installations, and videos. The show is an immersive experience divided into two sections. The first will highlight Guisset’s scenographic creations and the second section will shed light on her creative processes through her key designs and recent works. “Constance Guisset Design, Actio !” looks at the designer’s ability to ideate an object and bring it to existence and simultaneously blend theatrical and cinematic dimension that is key to a scenographer’s work.Constance Guisset (b.1976) is a French designer and scenographer. She studied at the ESSE C and Sciences Po in Paris. Guisset also studied at the ENSCI-Les Ateliers and graduated in 2007. She is the founder of Constance Guisset Studio in 2009. The designer has received several awards such as the Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris, and the Prix du Public at the Design Parade festival at Villa Noailles.
