Luk Vanderhallen will soon be participating in the Art Nocturne Knocke 2017. Born in 1979, Vanderhallen Graduated from the Media & Design Academy in Genk. Specializing in museum and exhibition design, public space and scenography the artist researches trough fine art and installations using the concepts of art vs. design relations. Vanderhallen even practiced theatre concepts, music and performances, for Bock Workshop, an experimental music theatre group (1979-82).  He worked as an Industrial Designer for the development of several educational programs, designs, exhibitions, videos and workshops for the Cultural Department of the Province of Limburg (1982-84).  Today he is the founder and owner Art & Design/Studio Luk van der Hallen that specializes in the design, managing and realization of artistic, theatrical and design concepts, installations and projects.The exhibition at the Art Nocturne Knocke 2017 will feature a collection of his latest artworks. Art Nocturne Knocke is one of the most prestigious arts fairs of the European summer season.
