Antoine Van Loocke will display his creativity in the Art Nocturne Knocke 2017, scheduled to be held at Knokke-Heist, from August 5-15, 2017. Antoine Van Loocke  is known for his creativity with knives. The artist has been creating knives from waste that are apexes of sophistication in knife. Loocke’s work can be associated with two concepts from the vocabulary of the ancient Greeks: ‘technè’, the art of making, executing, producing and ‘poièsis’, from the hidden to the manifest, from the shadow to the light. Each and every one of his knives incarnates this ancient concept pair. The exhibition by the artist will feature a collection of his newly carved knives, in the section design of the art fair. Art Nocturne Knocke is one of the most prestigious arts fairs of the European summer season.
